Hey, there! ♥︎ Recently, I've been receiving a ton of comments telling me to update my blog - specifically the academic section - and finally after (what, three, four months of a hiatus?) here I finally am! This year, I am finding maths particularity hard which is weird because maths always came naturally easy to me! Yes, it's so frustrating now because I was pretty good at maths but now? Awful. It may just be the subject we're doing, the way the teacher teaches, or (probably) me and my lack of understanding information! 🕊 I take notes during class (which is so rare as the teacher rarely, if not ever, explains something about what we're doing other than passing our sheets for us to do) and then copy them onto a better notebook for future reference, neatness, and studying. My in class notes are pretty messy and sometimes so hard to read, even I can't read what the heavens I wrote! If you're wondering, I write my in class notes with a simple 32 page scribbler notebook from Hilroy (I actually have two separate scribblers - one for the normal grade I'm in, and another for more advanced math, because I'm doing more advanced courses as well), I write with simple #2 pencils (plastic or wooden, depends on my mood), and the occasional pen if I want to write super fast. 🌹 As for my good copy of notes: I have a "color-coding" system/legend made up of an index card folded in half, and then tapped to my notebook with cute washi tape! As you can see down below in the second image, I have not found any type of "term" that I use often to coordinate with the color green. Next, I have an index on the first page of my notebook that only lasts one page (front and back). Although I don't really use the index much, I just like knowing what units/topics I have learned. I have inserted a couple of my maths notes from a few ago. They're on a unit for Sets and Venn Diagrams. (My least favorite subject because holy cow if you don't get it, you don't get it ! I remember having to studying so much to just understand the terms, let alone do the math!) So, yeah, that's pretty much it for how I personally take my maths notes. I find that my system works for me - it may not for you, please keep that in mind. You may have also noticed that I sort of re-state information on my good copy notes . . . yes, I do that - once in the main section where it goes into further depth, then once again in the formulas' section. It's super efficient if I just want a certain formula and although I don't really understand it, I don't have to skim through my notes - I can just look in my formulas box! If you any of you lovely people out there want anything specific on my blog, please don't hesitate to contact me either through comments on my blog, sending me something through my Ask, Wattpad, E-mail - anything! ═══ ✿❀✿❀✿ ═══
